Are you aged 14-20 years of age? Do you want to become a volunteer and gain hands-on experience in managing arts events during the Feltham Festival, held throughout May and June. We are a friendly team looking for enthusiastic volunteers with a keen interest in the arts to support us.

Roles include:

  • Support to artists at workshops

  • Events management

  • Administration

  • Stewarding

  • Exhibition curation

  • Marketing and media

  • Filming

Women In The War - FREE Theatre Project for Young People

AGED 11-18? THEN TALE BE TOLD THEATRE NEEDS YOU!

Work alongside a team of theatre professionals to uncover the hidden stories of women in the First World War. Take part in an original, immersive outdoor performance on the steps of Hanworth Park House.

Rehearsals to be held at the Feltham Hub located in The Centre, High Street, Feltham, TW13 4GU (2nd floor besides Feltham Library)

DATES & TIMINGS OF REHEARSALS:

18th July & 25th July: 4-6pm 1st August & 2nd August: 10am-12pm 8th August & 9th August: 10am-1pm 15th August & 16th August: 1-4pm

PERFORMANCE DATE:

Best of Hounslow 2019

Following on from the success of last year’s ‘Best Of’ event, the Mayor of Hounslow is again supporting the Borough-wide Talent Show. To celebrate seven years of inspirational achievements we thought it would be fitting to bring you the very best of Hounslow’s talent for 2019. This not-to-be-missed sell out event brings you the O’Connor Irish Dancers, contemporary dancer Remy, Bollywood dancer Lopa and much more…. Do not miss this incredible show bringing breathtaking talent, from artistes of all ages, to the big stage. We bring you two special guest acts for 2019. One are a fusion of dancers from various teams at the award winning Alliance Dance Unit led by Torron-Lee Dewar BCAa. The other, a group of young people from Rivers Academy who have produced a bespoke and interactive performance with world champion beatboxer Bass6 and other members from the internationally famous Beatbox Collective.

Theatre parking is £4.00 (Providing you arrive after 6.30pm). The best place to park is on level 3B of the car park. You will need to walk to the entrance on the top level and across the Treaty Centre, to the lift and go down to Level 1 for the Theatre and Library.

 A coming of age story about Harry, a charismatic 11-year-old boy who arrives at Reach Academy in Feltham unable to read or write. With the help of Sophie, his extremely dedicated teacher, and the unfailing support of his father, he struggles to overcome the illiteracy ingrained across generations of his family. Against the backdrop of a Britain riven with debates around class, identity and social mobility, the film follows Harry over two years as he fights not only to improve academically but also to believe in a better future for himself.
